Virtual Tasting Week – Bottles and Tasting Packs

Virtual Tasting Week Announcements – Monday 28th September 2020

We are delighted to provide you all with further details about our upcoming Virtual Tasting Week.

Between Monday 26th – Friday 30th October 2020, there will be a tasting each night featuring Hazelburn, Kilkerran, Longrow, Cadenhead’s or Springbank whisky that will be presented by members of our sales teams and broadcast via Facebook and YouTube.

There will be tasting packs to accompany each event and there will also be a special bottle released alongside each tasting. That means there will be an opportunity to purchase 5 exclusive, limited bottles to celebrate our Virtual Tasting Week.

As we have previously referenced, ticket holders for the sadly cancelled 2020 Campbeltown Malts Festival will be given first access to tasting packs and bottles. Following this, Springbank Society and Cadenhead’s Club members will be next to be invited to purchase the Virtual Tasting Week products. After this, and subject to availability, we hope to give the wider public the chance to join in the celebrations of our Virtual Tasting Week. Please see a summary of these dates below:

Monday 5th October – Access for 2020 Campbeltown Malts Festival Ticket Holders

Wednesday 7th October – Access for Springbank Society & Cadenhead’s Club Members

Friday 9th October – Access for the general public (subject to availability)

2020 Campbeltown Malts Festival Ticket Holders, Springbank Society and Cadenhead’s Club Members will receive an email, on the above dates, containing a link to the purchasing page. This will be through the Cadenhead Shop website (www.cadenhead.shop) and the link will be sent at 12 noon (UK Time). If we have any tasting packs or bottles left in stock after this, public access will be permitted on the date given above and the link will be displayed across our social media and websites.

For the groups gaining access on the 5th & 7th, we ask that you do not share this link as you will only be putting yourself, and others like you, at a disadvantage.

    1. If you bought tickets for the (cancelled) Campbeltown Malts Festival 2020 then you should have received an email by now. If you haven’t, please check your junk/spam folder and if you can’t see anything please email [email protected] and let them know what has happened and they will send you a copy of the email – Nathan

  2. I was waiting for a mail over how I could acquire the tasting packs. It never came. So, am I too late? I live in The Netherlands. I would like 1 pack each for the Kilkerran and Longmorn tastings. I would like 2 packs for the Springbank tasting.

    Thanks, Bruce Jones

  3. Hi, will i be able to use my Springbank Society 10% discount toward either the Open Day bottlings or the Tasting Packs? Thanks

        1. If you are buying core bottle generally I would advise you to contact the Campbeltown or Edinburgh shops directly to receive advice on this however I would not advise that you purchased a core bottle alongside a festival bottle as the delivery restrictions are slightly different for some people.

  4. Still waiting for a link to buy the tasting sets as a member of the general public. I have combed the website and cannot find any actual link. Only the description of the sets in the blog post. Any info available yet?

    1. Hi Bruce, the link for the (extremely limited) stock available for the public will appear on the Cadenhead Facebook and Twitter accounts, subject to last minute approval based on remaining units. Don’t have an exact time for you but will likely be in the next hour or so.
