Glenrothes-Glenlivet Information

A weighty and complex spirit, Glenrothes whisky is produced on its site in Moray. Time and patience are key for the production, with a long distillation process and a decidedly lengthy maturation (which is arguably necessary due to the spirit style and cask types used).

The single malt is known for combining nuts and fruits with a distinctly sweet spiciness.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Warm syrup, toast, lemon and lime.

Flavour:

Faint black pepper, flowery, wet grass.

Finish:

Blackcurrant jam, hint of figs with some chocolate and nutty notes.
