Glenrothes-Glenlivet Information

A weighty and complex spirit, Glenrothes whisky is produced on its site in Moray. Time and patience are key for the production, with a long distillation process and a decidedly lengthy maturation (which is arguably necessary due to the spirit style and cask types used).

The single malt is known for combining nuts and fruits with a distinctly sweet spiciness.

Nose:

Peanut butter, figs and treacle

Flavour:

Chewy. Orange zest and juicy sultanas. Hint of ginger in background

Finish:

Nutmeg, paprika with orange peel and brown sugar.
