Glen Moray-Glenlivet Information

A Speyside distillery that produces soft, fruity whisky.

It has been said that Glen Moray benefits from the closeness of the river (Lossie) and the high water table which produces a slightly warmer and more humid microclimate. This aids maturation.

As well as its traditional nature, more recently it has produced drams with a buttery note. And some others with peaty elements.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Peaches and slightly earthy. Golden syrup and quite floral.

Flavour:

Green apple skins, touches of cocoa powder, mango and passion fruit.

Finish:

Growing syrupy fruit notes with a soft earthy note.
