Glen Moray-Glenlivet Information

A Speyside distillery that produces soft, fruity whisky.

It has been said that Glen Moray benefits from the closeness of the river (Lossie) and the high water table which produces a slightly warmer and more humid microclimate. This aids maturation.

As well as its traditional nature, more recently it has produced drams with a buttery note. And some others with peaty elements.

Nose:

Madagascan vanilla, milk chocolate, tangerine

Flavour:

Parma violets, toasted almonds, sponge cake

Finish:

Golden syrup, citrus marmalade, nutmeg, cherries
