This 15 year old peated dram from the Isle of Mull’s only whisky producing distillery is known as Ledaig.

Fully matured in a Bourbon hogshead, this single cask bottling features notes of blackcurrant cordial, peat smoke, cinder toffee and cured ham.

Ledaig (Tobermory) Information

Heavily peated whisky from Tobermory distllery, Ledaig (pronounced "letch-ick") is known for its smokey flavour, accompanied by a slight fruitiness, a floral armoma and typical island whisky notes like sea salt.

Located on the north east of Mull, Tobermory distillery was originally established (as Ledaig) in the late 1700s and, although it has had a complicated history, it is going strong to this very day - creating single malts that combine the waters from the Gearr Abhainn brook with traditional whisky making methods.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Blackcurrant cordial, cinnamon, lemon sherbet, poached pears, citrus notes

Ashy peat smoke, blood orange, tones of saltiness, cinder toffee, honeycomb,

Flint notes, chalk, cured ham, wild garlic, pink peppercorn
