Glencadam, now the only remaining active distillery in the county of Angus, was first established back in 1825. Our Tasting Panel throughly enjoyed this dram with fruity notes on the nose including strawberries, peaches and fruit salad. The fruitiness continues throughout the palate followed by a sweet creamy finish. Particularly highlighted were notes of custard creams, bakewell pudding and pastel de nata (portuguese custard tarts).

Glencadam's reputation is definitely growing, approximately 200 years after its founding, as a result of its increased presence in the single malt market giving more and more people the chance to taste the fruity, floral spirit.
Its current era began when it was purchased by London-based Angus Dundee in 2003. Angus Dundee’s blending lab is now located at the distillery.
