Rum
Nothing Added. Not Even Sugar.
Single cask and small batch rums from distilleries around the world, matured and bottled in Campbeltown.
What we leave out
No Sugar, No Colour, No Shortcuts
No added sugar
Sweetening is common in rum, and labels rarely mention it. Ours has none, on any release.
No artificial colouring
Whatever colour is in the glass came out of the cask and nowhere else.
No added flavourings
Straight from the cask to the bottle.
No chill-filtration
The rum goes in the bottle as it is, so it may haze with ice or water. That is a good sign, not a fault.

Rum Is Not a Sideline
We have been bottling rum since the firm was based in Aberdeen. Robert W. Duthie, William Cadenhead’s nephew and a former owner of the company, built our name for quality rum bottlings in the early 1900s.
The method has not changed since. We buy casks from rum distilleries around the world, bring them to Campbeltown to finish maturing, and bottle them when they are ready. Our Classic Rum is the constant, always on the shelf, while the single casks come and go.

Single casks are bottled once and never repeated. The shop shows the rums available now.
