Nose
Shortbread with blackberries, sweet redcurrants, nutty, cold ash and tangerines.
Palate
Blackberry, raspberry, vanilla smoke, barbecued chicken breast, with Vermouth note, rosemary, chilli and red wine.
Finish
Milk chocolate with bitter orange, sweet ash, smoked white pepper, mouthfilling soft spiciness and a hint of liquorice.

Bunnahabhain
An imperious and impressive distillery located on the north-east of Islay - the location was decided by William Robertson (of Robertson & Baxter) along with Greenlees Bros back in 1881. This remote location meant that they had to build houses as well, constructing a road and a pier too, so that workers could live nearby and casks & barley could come in with whisky going out.
Production has increased in recent times, leading to investment in the distillery site - including a visitor centre.
