Hailing from the Speyside region, Balmenach distillery is one of the most traditional distilleries in the area, still making use of old style distilling methods. With Balmenach distillate known for working well in ex-sherry casks, we had no doubts that this would be a favourite for our Cadenhead’s tasting panel due to its rich nature. Sweet, fruity and nutty throughout, this dram has prominent notes such as date syrup, figs, cacao nibs and brazil nuts.
