Carefully composed from a marriage of five distinct sherry varieties, this 12yo Tullibardine is abundant with fruity and sweet character.

Layers of buttered fruit cake, cinnamon, soft leather, maraschino cherries and pink pepper unfold as you sip this Highland dram.

Created in collaboration with Hanseatische, this bottling is the first of The Spectrum Series, an annual release exclusive to Germany.

Tullibardine Information

Located in the village of Blackford (sometimes referred to as "The Gateway to the Highlands"), Tullibardine Distillery started life as a beer brewery that was favoured by King James IV of Scotland before it would eventually become a whisky distillery in the late 1940s - although distilling had been briefly tried on several occasions before this.

Tullibardine has gone through numerous changes in ownership since then and has enjoyed its fair share of ups and downs but today it takes pride of place in the Cadenhead's range and we have proudly bottled several whiskies from this distillery.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

A rich beast. Gingernut biscuits, buttered fruit cake, rhubarb and golden syrup

Flavour:

Tangerines, cola syrup, cinnamon, dates, soft leather

Finish:

Salty throughout, cayenne pepper, maraschino cherries, black banana, ginger loaf and pink pepper
