Tamdhu Distillery can be found in the small village of Knockando in Banffshire. Finished in an Oloroso cask from 2020, this bottling has notes of leather, wood polish and hazelnut on the nose. This then develops into a complex palate with notes of aniseed sweets and struck matches being highlighted by our panel. This is rounded off with a lovely fresh finish of orange, mint spring and brambles.

Tamdhu Distillery is a Speyside producer of single malt scotch whisky located in Knockando, Banffshire. Tamdhu comes from Gaelic for "little dark hill".

A reliable component of blends over the years, Tamdhu spirit is known to be sweet and fruity spirit with the ability to handle ageing in ex-sherry casks.
