This whisky has a fruity streak from start to finish. Notes of cherries, raisins and dates hint at the fact this dram holds dark fruit characteristics and as the dram develops this sweetness becomes more refined. An interesting and enjoyable way dram.

Cherry yoghurt, redcurrants, honey and lemon

Royal Brackla

Historically known for its smoky spirit - although that has changed over time - Royal Brackla was founded in 1817 by Captain William Fraser.

This made Fraser deeply unpopular with the moonshiners in the area but his whisky was a great success, gaining a fan in King William IV - the whisky became known by some as "The King's Own Whisky."

These days, the spirit is known for its fresh fruitiness and strong nose.
