This bottling from Knockdhu distillery has spent the last few years of maturation in a Caroni rum barrel so it is an interesting one for sure! Notes of amaretti biscuits, pine nuts, vanilla clotted cream and ripe banana were identified by the team.

In recent times, the owners have created a wetland area beyond the grounds where the spent lees is treated.
