Matured in a Madeira hogshead since December 2017, the influence is felt in the fruity flavours present. The black pepper you will sense on the finish is an excellent addition that gives the dram an extra edge.

Located in Knock, Banffshire, this distillery produces a vibrant and open young spirit that has a citrusy edge. The whisky becomes thicker as it ages, especially after it loses the initial sulphur hit and begins to take on the cask influence.

In recent times, the owners have created a wetland area beyond the grounds where the spent lees is treated.
