Finished in a Cabernet Franc hogshead that previously held Longrow Red, this expression from Bunnahabhain is full of flavour from the get go. Notes of Ibérico ham, peat embers, cranberries and sultanas combine to create this Islay dram.

Bunnahabhain

An imperious and impressive distillery located on the north-east of Islay - the location was decided by William Robertson (of Robertson & Baxter) along with Greenlees Bros back in 1881. This remote location meant that they had to build houses as well, constructing a road and a pier too, so that workers could live nearby and casks & barley could come in with whisky going out.

Production has increased in recent times, leading to investment in the distillery site - including a visitor centre.
