When it comes to the next distillery, the majority of spirit produced at Benrinnes is used for blends, so we are very pleased to offer this single cask bottling to our valued Cadenhead’s customers. Finished in a Fino hogshead, this has given the spirit a light floral influence which is displayed throughout. With notes of dried apricots, lightly buttered toast and cinnamon sticks; we hope that you enjoy sipping on this dram as much as our tasting panel did.

There is no doubt that Benrinnes is a Cadenhead's favourite and it isn't hard to work out why.
Not known for being a single malt (being only occasionally seen as such where it displays a meaty character), which gives independent bottlers the perfect opportunity to showcase this distillery.
The current location of the Benrinnes distillery is actually its second site. The original was built in 1826 by a man named Peter MacKenzie but this was destroyed in a 1829 flood. A new site was then found by John Innes.
