Situated at the foot of Scotland’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in the country. This bottling has been finished in a Cabernet Franc cask that was previously used by Springbank distillery for their ‘Longrow Red’ expression, therefore creating a complex final dram. To begin with, there are fruity notes which are then cut through by hints of ash, freshly cut peat and cigar boxes. The finish of this dram is sweet and nutty with distinct coastal notes to round it all off.
